Ronald Reagan: Pro-Israel President

Dear Friends,

A few thoughts as we are gearing up for your coming trip:

Amidst the ebbs and flows of politics, the constant shifts in policy, and the ever-fluctuating state of the Middle East, a simple truth remains: never has there been a better, more important time to stand with Israel than now.

The amity between the two nations, which was seeded in 1948 when the United States of America became the first nation to recognize the fledgling state of Israel, has since grown into a strong friendship of allies, standing the tests of war and peace alike.

Throughout Israel’s embattled existence in a turbulent region where its right to exist has been challenged time and again, Israel has not only survived but thrived. A nation of immigrants and refugees, it has built itself to be the only true and stable democracy in the Middle East with a vibrant and diverse society that protects its minorities, strives for social justice, and holds its leadership accountable. In short, a shocking contrast to the nations surrounding it.

In fact, you may not know it from the media, but Israelis are some of the happiest people around according to a recent international OECD survey; and that’s not so hard to believe once you know that Israel was also rated the fourth best nation to raise a family in 2015 out of 41 nations in the Expat Insider global survey.

In case it wasn’t clear, we love our little nation, and can’t wait to share it with you. Thank you for joining one of our upcoming trips to the land of Israel. We know you will never be the same again!

Your Genesis team
